Design Process

I've worked with the Caplo Advisory team to research the company’s history and identify what appeals to its target markets.

Needing to address both of Caplo Advisory's target audiences, high-earning professionals and entrepreneurs,  I established a distinct visual language that can speak to each audience while still falling within the overarching brand. We established the use of their new brand strategy, including copy, icons, fonts, colors, and the logo.

Design

I drew inspiration from luxury and finance brands like Rolex and Wealthsimple to guide the brand’s visual direction. I aimed for clean and simple fonts, colors, and icons that conveyed a sense of wealth and youth. Additionally, the imagery and graphics were carefully chosen to reflect Caplo Advisory’s target audience, ensuring the brand’s visual language resonates with their expectations.

Problem

LEAP HTX wanted to quickly build a fun and enriching brand for elementary school children. LEAP's after-school program was focused on the community and giving relief to parents whose children had to stay after school. The new brand was tasked to target hard-working parents who needed a trustworthy program to educate and care for their children.

Outcome

LEAP’s new brand was created to be fun, vibrant, and nurturing.  The brand's visual identity was created with new fonts, colors, and icons to create a cohesive look across all branding materials. To appeal to a broad group of families, including parents and children, LEAP approached me to help design its new identity system.

Icon

The leaping icon is an important representation of the LEAP brand and its values. First, you see a jumping child ready to learn and grow. Second, knowledge can be represented as a powerful toolbox given to children at LEAP.
