A finance firm who needed to speak to the right clientele.
Brand Deliverables
Project deliverables included font licensing, logo design, social media graphics, real estate marketing materials, website creation, and branding guidelines to guide FIG moving forward.
Problem
Fig Real Estate, a boutique real estate firm based in Houston Heights, needed a refreshed identity that reflected its unique character and appealed to a modern clientele. The existing brand lacked personality and visual cohesion, making it hard to stand out in a saturated market. Fig's team wanted to attract mid-to-older millennial homebuyers—clients who value professionalism but also appreciate brands with charm, wit, and warmth.
Outcome
I worked with Fig to develop a brand identity that was clean, modern, and a little quirky—striking a balance between approachability and professionalism. The new logo features bold but friendly typography, paired with a playful fig mark that nods to the brand’s name without being overly literal. A refreshed color palette, typography system, and brand visuals were rolled out across digital and print collateral to ensure consistency. The result is a brand that feels rooted in the neighborhood, but ready for today’s market.

Design
I drew inspiration from luxury and finance brands like Rolex and Wealthsimple to guide the brand’s visual direction. I aimed for clean and simple fonts, colors, and icons that conveyed a sense of wealth and youth. Additionally, the imagery and graphics were carefully chosen to reflect Caplo Advisory’s target audience, ensuring the brand’s visual language resonates with their expectations.
Design Process
My design process is collaborative, strategic, and grounded in thoughtful exploration. For Fig Real Estate, I drew inspiration from nature and the fruit itself—exploring how the shape and symbolism of a fig could be subtly woven into the logo. I begin every project by understanding the client’s goals, audience, and values, then translate that insight into visuals that connect. From moodboarding and sketching to refining logos and building brand systems, I focus on crafting designs that feel intentional, cohesive, and tailored to each client’s personality and purpose.
